Sending today shows the letters going in the post today, from all your campaigns. Your daily budget decides how many go. Letters are posted once a day, at 7pm your time.
Click Sending today in the sidebar, under Letter campaigns.
Check today's budget
At the top, In budget shows:
Letters sending: about how many letters go today.
Spending today: what they'll cost, including any roll-over and any you've force sent.
Budget left: what's left of today's budget once they've gone.
Out of budget shows the letters Held back because the budget has run out, and how much more budget would send them all. Held-back letters wait for the next sending day. Click Review budgets to change your budget.
See a letter before it goes
Click the eye beside a letter. It opens exactly as it will be printed, with their name and address filled in.
Cancel one letter
Click Cancel letter beside it.
To stop just this letter and keep the rest of that lead's letters, untick Also stop the letter workflow this letter belongs to, then pick a Reason for cancellation.
Click Cancel letter.
With the box left ticked, every letter still to come for that person in that campaign is stopped too.
Send a held-back letter today anyway
Click the Out of budget tab.
Click Force send beside the letter, then Confirm.
It goes out today on top of your budget, and is marked Forced send. To change your mind, click Undo force send, and it waits for your budget again. A forced letter still needs letter credit.
Why does it say "Not enough credits"?
Your letter credit won't cover today's letters. The banner says how much you're short. Click Top up to buy more. If you're not a billing member, ask one of your team's billing members to top up.
Why does a letter have a warning sign?
It failed to post. Hover over it to see why:
There weren't enough letter credits to pay for it. Top up your letter credits to keep letters going.
It would have gone over your daily letter spend limit.
Why are letters held back?
Your daily budget has run out for today. They go on a later sending day, or you can force send them. Follow-up letters go before first letters, and newer letters before older ones. See "How to set your daily budget".
Why is there nothing here?
No letters sending today means no letters are due today. Letters due later, or waiting for a council decision, appear on the day they're due.
Why don't I see Sending today?
If your team downloads and posts its own letters, the sidebar shows Download today instead. See "How to download and post letters yourself".
