How to set your branding

Put your own logo and colour on everything your clients see, and add your website so your letters match it.

Your branding is your logo and colour. They're used on every project's client portal, the PDF reports and the emails your clients get, and your Portfolio uses them too. Buildscout only appears as a small line at the bottom.

Open your branding

Go to Settings → Branding. Under Logo and colour, What your clients see is a preview that changes as you go.

Add your logo

  1. Under Logo, click Choose a file, or drop your logo onto the box.

  2. It's saved as soon as it's uploaded.

Use a PNG, JPEG or SVG under 2 MB. A wide logo on a white or clear background works best. To change it, click Change logo; to take it off, click Remove, and your clients see your team name instead.

Pick your colour

  1. Under Colour, pick one of the colours, or type your own, like #1F6F5C, to match your van and signs.

  2. Click Save colour. Until you do, it says Not saved yet.

Add your website

Under Website, type your website and click Save. Your AI-designed letters are designed to match it: its look, its colours and the way you talk about your work.

Your Portfolio's branding

Your Portfolio uses the same logo and colour, unless you give it its own in the Portfolio editor: open its Site tab, then Brand, for its Logo and Colour. Its own logo or colour only changes your Portfolio: your client portals keep your team's. If your team has no logo yet, a logo you upload there becomes your team's logo too.

Why is my logo not uploading?

  • Use a PNG, JPEG or SVG for your logo.: save your logo in one of those formats.

  • Use a logo under 2 MB.: the file is too big. Use a smaller version.

Why can't I save my colour?

Save colour is greyed out until you pick a colour that's different from the saved one. If you've typed a colour, it must look like #1F6F5C; otherwise it says Enter a colour like #1F6F5C, or pick one above.

Why do my clients still see Buildscout's blue?

That's the colour used until you pick your own. Picking Buildscout blue also means you have no colour of your own.
