Rather print and post your letters yourself? Buildscout can get them ready for you to download each day. No letter credit is used, and no daily budget applies.
Switch to downloading your letters
Click Settings in the sidebar, then Setup.
Under How will you send letters?, choose Download and send letters yourself.
Click Save.
Sending today in the sidebar becomes Download today.
Download today's letters
Click Download today in the sidebar. The page is called Letters to download.
Not downloaded lists every letter that's due. Filter by campaign or Send date, or search for a lead.
Click the eye beside a letter to check it first.
Tick the letters you want and click Download (N), where N is how many you ticked, or click Download all.
We email you when they're ready, usually within a few minutes. Click Download ZIP in the email. The link works for 7 days.
The download holds the letters as PDFs to print, 50 to a file, with a spreadsheet saying who each one is for and which pages are theirs.
To download one letter on its own, click the download button beside it.
Once downloaded, they count as sent
A downloaded letter moves to Downloaded and counts as sent, so it won't come round again, and the next letter in the sequence follows on as usual. Print them, post them, and Buildscout keeps track of who's had what.
Why does it say this feature isn't in my plan?
Downloading letters isn't included in every plan. You'll see This feature is not included in your current plan. Click Contact support to ask about it, or Change to autosend letters to have us post them for you instead.
Why does the email say some letters are missing?
Some letters couldn't be made into PDFs. The email says how many. They aren't marked as downloaded, so they're still under Not downloaded. Try downloading them again.
How do I go back to having letters posted for me?
Click Settings in the sidebar, then Setup, and change How will you send letters? to Send letters through Buildscout, and click Save. Letters are then paid from your letter credit, within your daily budget.
