Your profile and password are yours, in every team you're part of, so you only keep them up to date once.
Update your profile
Click your initial at the top right, choose Settings, then click Profile under Personal.
Change your Name if you need to.
Add your Mobile number to choose to get notifications by text.
Check your Timezone. It sets your today, the times you're shown and when your reminders arrive.
Click Save.
Change your email
On Profile, type the new address in Email.
Click Save.
Open the email we send to the new address and click the link in it.
Your email only changes once you open that link. Until then, the form says which address it's changing to.
Change your password
In Settings, click Security under Personal.
Type your Current password.
Type your New password, then again under Confirm new password. It needs at least 8 characters.
Click Save.
You stay signed in here. Everywhere else signs out, so only you are in.
If you sign in with Google or Apple, there's no current password to type: the page says Set a password instead, and a password lets you sign in with your email too.
Why does it say the link to change my email has expired?
The link works once, for 12 hours. Type the new address on Profile again for a fresh one.
Why didn't my email change?
"That email is already in use by another account, so your email hasn't changed." Each email address can only belong to one Buildscout account.
Why does it say "Invalid password"?
The Current password you typed is wrong. If you've forgotten it, sign out and use Forgot password? on the login page.
Why does my booking show a different time from my timezone?
Your timezone sets the times you're shown, but a booking's hours stay on its team's clock, the site hours set in the team's Setup.
I'm not on a team. Where's my profile?
If you only work on other builders' projects, or have no team open, the menu under your initial opens your Account settings instead, with the same Profile, Notifications, Calendar and Security pages.
