Export a folder when you want its leads in a spreadsheet, to print, share or work through offline. Buildscout makes the file and emails you a link to download it.
Export a folder
Click Saved leads in the sidebar and open the folder.
If you only want some of its leads, filter or search the folder first. Only the leads you can see go in.
Click Export at the top right.
Under File name (optional), type a name if you like. Leave it empty and Buildscout names the file for you.
Under Columns, click Choose columns to pick what goes in (see below).
Click Export.
Buildscout says "Export started", and emails you a link to download the file when it's ready. It usually only takes a moment.
Export just the leads you've ticked
In the folder, tick the leads you want.
Click Export in the bar above the table.
Name the file and choose the columns if you like, then click Export.
Choose the columns
Click Choose columns.
Tick the columns you want, from the application to the agent's details. Tick a group's name to take every column in it. Type in Find a column to search for one.
Click Done.
Click Use the defaults to go back to the standard columns. Next time you export, Buildscout remembers the columns you picked.
Download an export again
Every export your team makes is kept in Settings → Exports. Find it there and download it again whenever you need it.
Why is Export greyed out?
There are no leads to export. Either the folder is empty or no leads match your filters. Clear the filters, or save some leads to the folder.
Why can't I export this many leads?
Each export has a maximum number of rows. If you go over it, the dialog says "This exceeds the maximum of … rows per export." Filter the folder down, or tick fewer leads. If it also says to upgrade, a bigger plan lets you export more at once.
Why does it say I've used all my exports this week?
Some plans allow a set number of planning data exports a week. The dialog says how many you have left. Once they're used up, you can export again after your allowance resets on Monday.
Why can't I see Export?
Exporting a folder comes with Planning data. If your plan doesn't include it, there's no Export button.
