Spotted something wrong in a letter that hasn't gone yet, like a name the council's records have spelt oddly? You can fix just that one letter. It changes that letter only, never your template.
Find the letter
Click Letter campaigns in the sidebar and open the campaign.
Click Letters in the campaign's menu on the left.
Click Scheduled to see the letters still to go. Sent shows the ones already posted.
Search by name or address, or pick a Send date, to find the one you want.
Check it and fix it
Click the eye (View letter) beside it. The Letter preview shows it exactly as it'll be printed, with their name and address filled in.
Click the pencil (Edit letter) at the top of the preview.
Change the text, just as you would in a document.
Click Save.
That's the letter that goes in the post. Open it again and you'll see your change.
Why isn't my letter on the Scheduled list?
Scheduled only lists letters with a send date. A letter has no date yet when it's waiting for something first: the council's decision, or the letter before it in the sequence. It gets a date when that happens.
Letters that were cancelled, or whose lead was skipped, paused or stopped, aren't listed either. Open the lead to see every letter and why it isn't going.
Will my change go into the template?
No. It changes this one letter for this one person. To change the letter for everyone, edit the template in Letter templates.
Can I see who scanned a letter?
Yes. On Sent, choose Scanned or Not scanned. The Scanned column shows when they scanned its QR code.
