Every letter in Letter templates has a card with a picture of it, its name, how many pages it has and whether it's an A4 letter or a postcard. Some cards also have a label across the top, or a warning, that tells you something about the letter. This article explains each one. Letter templates come with Campaigns.
Designing…
The AI is still designing this letter. The label shows roughly how long is left. Click the card to open it and watch the designs come in, or carry on with something else: it keeps going in the background.
Until its first design has landed, the letter can't be used in a campaign, sent as a test letter or copied. In the letter picker, its button says Still being designed.
Couldn't be designed
The AI couldn't design this letter. Open it to see why, then:
Click Try again to design it again. That's usually all it takes.
Click Delete letter to take it out of your letters.
If the reason is about your website, check the address you gave and try again with the right one.
Legacy letter
This is an older letter, made before the current letter editor. It still works and can still be sent. When you open it, it opens in the older editor.
A red warning next to the page count
The letter has merge tags that aren't written correctly, so letters from it can't be sent until they're fixed. Point at the warning to see which ones. Open the letter and fix them: the Merge tags panel on the left points out each tag that isn't one of ours or is missing a brace. See "How to edit a letter by hand".
Why can't I find a letter?
Type its name in Search letter templates… at the top of the page. More letters load as you scroll, and a search looks through all of them. If a letter was deleted, it can't be brought back.
Why does the page say my letter templates couldn't be loaded?
