How to pay for more than one team

Put several teams on one bill, or keep a separate billing account for another company.

A billing account is who pays: it has the plan, the card and the invoices. One billing account can pay for several teams, such as a team for each branch, and they all share its plan. A different company paying for its own teams has a billing account of its own.

Add a team to your bill

  1. Click your initial at the top right and choose Billing.

  2. Click Teams in the side menu.

  3. Click Create a team.

  4. Type a Team name. Under Who pays for this team?, your billing account is already picked.

  5. Click Create team.

The new team shares your plan, and you're its admin. Teams lists every team the account pays for and how many people are on them, with Open next to the teams you're on.

Start a billing account for another company

  1. Choose Billing from the menu under your initial.

  2. In the side menu, click New billing account.

  3. Type Who pays and Its first team.

  4. Click Create billing account.

You're its owner. It starts with no plan, so you choose one next. Each billing account you're a member of is listed under Billing accounts, with the teams it pays for. Back to dashboard takes you back to your team.

Why does Billing say I'm not a billing member of any account?

"You aren't a billing member of any account." Ask whoever manages your team's billing to add you, or start a new billing account for a company of your own.
