Saved leads is where you work the leads you keep from Planning data: sorting them into folders, moving them along the board, handing them to teammates and keeping notes, from the first call to the job you win.
Find your way around
Click Saved leads in the sidebar. The menu down the left has:
All leads: every lead you're working on in one list, from your folders and your campaigns.
Review leads: if you have Campaigns, the campaign leads waiting for you to decide on letters.
Campaigns: each campaign's leads on their own. Paused and archived campaigns fold away under Not active.
Planning data folders: your folders. Keep leads by area, by size of job, or however suits you. The number beside a folder is how many leads are in it.
Bin: at the bottom, the leads you've decided against, until you clear them out.
Type in Find a campaign or folder… to narrow the menu down by name.
A folder
Click a folder to open it. Its leads are in a table: Lead (the work and the address), Status (the council's decision), Assignee, Applicant and agent, Tags and Found (when it was saved). In the UK there's also Property value.
Along the top you can narrow the folder down:
Date found: when the leads were saved.
Quick filters: Starred shows just the leads you've starred.
Tags, Stage and Assignee: pick by tag, by board stage, or by who it's assigned to.
Search leads…: search the folder.
If the row runs out of room, the filters that don't fit go behind a Filters button. Clear all in there takes them all off.
The board
Click the Board view icon at the right of the toolbar to see the leads by the stage they're at. Drag a lead along as the job moves on. Drop one in Won and Buildscout offers to make it a project; drop one in Lost and it asks why. The count above the board shows how many you've won and lost, and your win rate.
A lead
Click a lead to open it. Near the top are its Folders, its Stage, its Assignee and its Tags:
Pick someone under Assignee to hand the lead to them. They get a notification, unless you've picked yourself.
Under Tags, type a new tag or pick one you've used before.
The Notes keep the whole team up to date. Type @ to bring a teammate in, and they get a notification that takes them straight to the lead.
Export a folder
Click Export at the top of a folder, pick the columns you want, and Buildscout emails you a link as soon as the spreadsheet is ready.

Why don't I have any folders?
Folders come with Planning data. Until you've saved a lead, Saved leads says "Save leads from your search into folders to keep the ones you want." Click Search for leads to start a search, then save the results you want to keep.
If your plan doesn't include Planning data, you won't see Planning data folders or the Bin. Your campaigns' leads are still in All leads.
