How to design a postcard with AI

Have AI design both sides of an A5 postcard in your style, from your website and photos of your work.

A postcard is seen as soon as it's picked up from the doormat: a big picture of your work and a short note. AI can design one for you in your style, the same way it designs a letter. Letter templates come with Campaigns.

Design a postcard

  1. Click Letter campaigns in the sidebar, then Letter templates.

  2. Click New template.

  3. Choose A5 postcard.

  4. Check Your website. If your team has saved one, it's already filled in, and so is your logo.

  5. Tap the photos you'd like on the front. You can pick up to six.

  6. In Anything we should know? (optional), say what the postcard is for. For example: "a free site visit for loft conversions".

  7. Click Design my letter.

Three designs are drawn for you in about a minute. They appear down the left, under Versions. You can leave and come back: they're saved to your templates as they're made.

Pick and finish it

Every postcard has two sides: the address and your message on one, a big picture of your work on the other.

  1. Click each design on the left to look at it.

  2. Leave the one you like best open.

  3. Click the name at the top and give it a name you'll know it by.

  4. Click Done. The postcard is in your library, ready for a campaign.

To change a design, see "How to change a design with AI" and "How to edit a letter by hand".

Why is a postcard one price?

A postcard is one card, printed front and back, so it costs the same whatever is on it. The bottom of the editor says so, next to the price of each postcard. A letter is different: each page after the first costs extra.

Why are the ideas for a postcard different from a letter's?

When you click Edit with AI, a letter offers Add a second page showing our projects. A postcard can't have a second page, so it offers Make the headline bolder instead.
