If your business runs more than one team in Buildscout, such as a team for each branch, you switch between them with one login. Each team keeps its own leads, projects and settings.
Switch to another team
Click the team name at the top of the page. It's always there, so you can see which team you're working in.
Under Teams, pick the one you want. The team you're in has a tick.
See all your teams in one place
Click the search box at the top of the page (Search projects, tasks, leads…), type "Your teams" and pick Your teams.
The Where would you like to go? page lists your teams, grouped by who pays for them (Paid for by …).
Click a team to open it.
If you look after the billing for a group, Manage billing next to it opens its billing. If you're also a subcontractor on other builders' projects, Subcontractor view under Working for other builders opens those.
Create a new team
Click the team name at the top of the page and choose Create team. On Your teams, it's Create a new team.
Type a Team name.
Under Who pays for this team?, pick a billing account you look after, or Someone new. For someone new, type Who's paying.
Click Create team.
The team opens straight away, and you're its admin. A team shares the plan of whoever pays for it, so a team on an existing billing account is ready to use. A team paid for by someone new has no plan yet, so you're asked to choose one first.
Why can't I see a team I used to be in?
You've been removed from it, or your invite to it hasn't been accepted yet. If you're on no team at all, Your teams says "You're not on a team at the moment. Ask a team admin to add you, or create a team of your own."
Why can't I pick who pays for a new team?
Only the billing accounts you're a billing member of are listed. To put a new team on another account's bill, ask one of that account's billing members to create it, or to add you as a billing member.
