When a homeowner asks for a quote from your Portfolio page, the enquiry is emailed to you the moment it's sent. Every enquiry is also kept in Buildscout, so none gets forgotten.
See your enquiries
Click Portfolio in the sidebar, then the Enquiries tab. Enquiries are listed newest first. New ones are highlighted, and the number of unread ones shows next to Portfolio in the sidebar. Opening the tab marks them as read.
Each enquiry shows the person's name, their message, when they sent it and, where we know, how they found you.
Answer an enquiry
Click their email address to reply by email.
Click their phone number to ring them back.
You can also reply straight to the email the enquiry came in.
Turn an enquiry into a project
On the enquiry, click Create project.
Check the details and create the project.
The project starts with their message and their details, so nothing gets lost. Back in Enquiries, the enquiry now has Open project, which takes you to it.
Why haven't I had any enquiries?
Your page has to be live and people have to find it. If it's still a draft, publish it, then share its address on your van, your quotes and your socials.
Why wasn't an enquiry emailed to me?
If we couldn't email an enquiry to you, it says We couldn't email this one to you. Reply from here. Use their email address or phone number on the enquiry to answer them.
Where do enquiry emails go?
They go to the address at the top of the Enquiries tab. To change it, go to the Page tab, open the editor's Site tab, then Enquiries. Type the new address under Send enquiries to and click Use this.
